Design Process
Import and manage multiple bitmap images from all supported common formats, such as: bmp, jpeg, tiff, gif and png. With PDF files all pages with bitmap images can be imported as separate layers.
The Vector Tools module is extremely useful when creating artwork as it allows you to create individual line drawings (vectors) or sections from a design on a number of different layers.
If any of your designs involve working with text, you will greatly benefit from the ArtCAM Express Font Creator Module as it not only gives you the freedom to create your own unique text but also the ability to tailor any font to match the specific capabilities of your CNC machine.
Manufacturing Process
This module will significantly enhance the 2D machining capabilities of your ArtCAM Express software. Strategies such as Profiling, Area Clearance and the Inlay wizard are just some of the strategies that will instantly benefit from a superior machining finish.
Nesting Module (includes Advanced 2D Machining Module) 
Looking to cut out multiple parts as efficiently and economically as possible? ArtCAM Express can place vast numbers of letters or shapes tightly together, according to their true shape and then cut them from one or multiple sheets of material, reducing material waste.
The Texture Toolpath Module is a very powerful design tool. It can be used to add textured patterns to any design whether that is a background for a sign, used for sculptures or decorative furniture panels, embossing plates or even to add decorative aspects to your product design.
Working with your selected vectors or vector layer (provided you have purchased the Vector Tools Module) you can machine raised, recessed or centreline engraved features to a depth or height relative to your ArtCAM Relief Clipart or imported 3D model.
The ArtCAM Express Raised Round Module is ideal for foil and embossing dies with lettering as it generates engraving toolpaths directly from the vector artwork. This module can also be used to as an additional method of carving out decorative text for your signage.
The Smart Engraving module is an extremely powerful tool for creating raised flat lettering suitable for name plates or foiling dies. This unique function not only rapidly clears away surplus material but also uses corner sharpening to create a clean crisp edge, ideal for foil stamping.
